Creating Your AI Assistant in Vardast

Vardast allows you to build a fully trained AI assistant that works across Instagram, Telegram, Website Widget, and API integrations.

Your AI assistant can:

  • Guide users with consultation in your defined business area
  • Introduce and explain your products or services
  • Convert conversations into leads automatically
  • Complete full product orders or pre-registrations
  • Collect payment receipts and customer information
  • Operate 24/7 like a trained team member

Think of Vardast as a digital employee.

Just like a human employee needs training, your AI assistant also requires structured setup and accurate information.

What Does a Vardast AI Assistant Do?

Once configured, your assistant can:

1. Provide Consultation

It gives structured guidance based on:

  • Your business type
  • Your defined responsibilities
  • Your uploaded FAQs
  • Your products

2. Promote & Explain Products

It can:

  • Present product details
  • Handle objections
  • Explain pricing
  • Guide users to purchase

3. Convert Messages into Leads

Every conversation can become:

  • A collected phone number
  • A captured customer inquiry
  • A structured lead inside your dashboard
  • A report sent to Telegram (if enabled)

4. Complete Orders Automatically

If Product Sales is enabled:

  • It collects order details
  • Calculates total cost
  • Determines shipping method (if physical product)
  • Requests payment
  • Collects bank receipt
  • Sends full order report to you

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • A Vardast Dashboard account
  • At least one connected platform (Instagram, Telegram, Website, etc.)
  • Clear understanding of:
  • Your business role for AI
  • Your tone
  • Your common customer questions
  • Your product information

Step-by-Step: Creating a New AI Assistant

Step 1: Create a New Assistant

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Navigate to Assistants
  • Click New Assistant

An assistant will be created automatically.

Step 2: Connect the Assistant to an Account

After creating the assistant, you must connect it to a platform.

Available platforms may include:

  • Instagram
  • Telegram
  • Website Widget
  • API

Select your desired account and click Next.

If you haven’t connected an account yet:

  • Click Connect Account
  • Follow the platform connection steps
  • Return to the assistant setup

Instagram Note

If you choose Instagram:

  • Vardast automatically reads public page information
  • Extracts bio and basic data
  • Pre-fills certain fields for faster setup

You can skip this step if you want to test the assistant first and connect it later.

You will see a Live Introduction Preview showing how your assistant introduces itself.

If Instagram was connected earlier, some fields may already be pre-filled.

Click Next to continue.

Step 3: Define Assistant Personality & Responsibility

This is where you train your AI.

You will define:

1. Responsibility

Choose the assistant’s main role:

  • Seller
  • Consultant

This determines how it behaves in conversations.

2. Tone of Voice

Choose your communication style:

  • Friendly
  • Professional

The tone affects message structure and language.

3. Business Information

You must enter:

  • Business / Brand Name
  • Field of Activity

Step 4: Add Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ Training)

Your assistant needs structured knowledge.

You can:

  • Select from Vardast Recommended FAQs
  • Edit recommended questions
  • Add new custom FAQs
  • Upload FAQs via file

Option A: Use Recommended FAQs

  • Select from the suggested list
  • Edit if necessary
  • Click Add

Option B: Add Custom FAQs

  • Click Add New
  • Write the question
  • Provide the correct answer
  • Click Save

Option C: Upload via File

  • Click on Upload File
  • Download the template file
  • Follow the required format
  • Upload the completed file

Supported formats: xlsx, txt, json, csv

Important Note for FAQs

It is important to choose questions carefully.

  • Add real and frequent customer questions
  • Include different variations and synonyms that users might use

For example:

“What is the price?”

“How much does it cost?”

This improves response accuracy significantly.

Step 5: Enable Advanced Capabilities

Inside your Assistant settings, you can activate:

Important Note About Prompt Editing

Your assistant includes a structured system prompt.

Avoid removing or editing default instructions unless you have knowledge of prompt engineering.

Incorrect changes may cause:

  • Broken sales flow
  • Inaccurate responses
  • Incomplete lead capture
  • Conversation errors

Only modify sections intended for customization.

Final Step: Activate Assistant

After configuration:

  • Review all settings
  • Click Next
  • Ensure the assistant is assigned to an active account

Testing Your Assistant

Before going fully live:

  • Send test messages
  • Ask common customer questions
  • Test order flow
  • Test lead collection
  • Verify Telegram reports (if enabled)

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving Responsibility undefined
  • Editing core prompt instructions without knowledge
  • Enabling Product Sales without adding products
  • Not uploading FAQs
  • Forgetting to assign assistant to account
  • Not configuring payment details
