Getting Started with Vardast
Welcome to Vardast! Follow these steps to get your AI-powered assistant and automation workflows set up and running across your platforms.
Step 1 — What Is Vardast?
Vardast is your AI co-worker that automates support, sales, and communication on social platforms like Instagram, Website, Telegram, and more.
It consists of:
- AI Assistant: Handles natural conversations.
- Automation: Uses pre-set messages and triggers to guide users.
Step 2 — Select Platforms
Before setting up, choose where you want Vardast to work.
- Tip: If you want to connect Vardast to a platform that isn’t listed, you can easily do so by using the Vardast API for custom integrations.
- Connect your accounts.
Step 3 — Create Your Assistant
Now, let’s build your assistant:
- Go to Dashboard → Assistants → Create New Assistant.
- Choose the connected account.
- Complete the setup process and configure the assistant’s instructions and business data.

Step 4 — Train Your Assistant
Once you’ve created your assistant, the next step is to test its responses and ensure it’s set up correctly.
- Test how the assistant responds to common queries and interactions.
- If any responses need improvement, click Improve Answers. You can edit or add instructions on how the assistant should behave or handle certain situations.
- To enhance accuracy, add relevant information about your business. Include answers to frequently asked questions and any essential details to ensure Vardast is well-informed.
In the Assistant Settings, you can:
- Add key business details, FAQs, or instructions.
- Add product or service information.
- Define customer interaction guidelines to maintain consistency in conversations.
- By adding this information, you ensure Vardast is fully equipped to assist your customers effectively.

Step 5 — Setting Up Triggers and Automation Flows
For automation, you can set up specific triggers like:
- DM Keywords: Respond to messages based on keywords.
- Story Interactions: Respond when a user replies to your story.
- Post Comments: Automatically reply to comments with custom messages.
You can then define what Vardast does:
- Text Messages: Send personalized or pre-defined text responses to your users.
- Media Files: Share images, audio, or videos to engage your users.
- Action Buttons: Provide clickable options for users to guide their own journey.
- Product Vitrine: Showcase your products with clear visuals, descriptions, and pricing.
- Smart Delays: Set natural pauses between messages to mimic real human interaction.
- Follower Verification: Ensure that the user follows your account before proceeding with the automation flow.

Step 6 — Manage Contacts
To view or manage interactions with users:
- Go to the Messages section.
- Choose a user and view their interaction history.
- Here you can clear cache or pause Vardast’s interaction for that user if necessary.
Step 7 — Review Reports
All collected data, such as leads, orders, and receipts, can be easily accessed and managed from the Reports section. Here’s a quick overview of each type of data you can review:
