Vardast Notifications Setup
In order for Vardast to send you important information (such as collected leads, product orders, Instagram story analysis, human admin requests, and unanswered questions), you must create a Telegram group and connect specific topic links inside Vardast.
Step 1: Create a Telegram Group
- Open Telegram and click on the top menu.
- Select New Group.
- Search for and add the Vardast management bot:
- @vardast_management_bot
- Choose a name for your group.
- Open Group Info and click the Edit (pencil icon).
- Enable Topics.
- By default, a topic named General will be created.
- To create a new topic:
- Click the bottom menu or the top menu.
- Select Add Topic / Create Topic.
- Enter your desired topic name.
- Open the topic’s Info section and copy the topic link.
- Go to your Vardast dashboard → Accounts → select the desired account → paste the topic link in the corresponding section.
- Click Save.
Step 2: Connect the Telegram Group to Vardast
- Log in to the Vardast platform.
- Go to Accounts.
- Select the account you want to configure and click on Channel Setting.
- On Report Setting section paste the copied Telegram topic link into the designated field.
- Click Save.
Important Notes About Vardast Telegram Notifications
Each account inside Vardast has four separate notification sections.
You must paste a Telegram topic link for each section.
Each section serves a different purpose:
1. Lead Generation
This section sends notifications whenever a new lead is collected.
To activate this feature, follow the Lead Generation setup guide (see documentation: Lead Generation Setup).
After proper activation, every collected phone number or inquiry will:
- Be stored inside your dashboard
- Be optionally sent to the connected Telegram topic
2. Product Sales
This section sends notifications for product orders and submitted payment receipts.
To activate this feature, follow the Product Sales setup guide (see documentation: Product Sales Setup).
When enabled:
- Order details are collected automatically
- Payment receipts are recorded
- A full report is sent to your Telegram topic
3. Instagram Story Analysis
Whenever you publish a new Instagram story and receive the first user reply:
- Vardast automatically analyzes the story
- The analysis is sent to your Telegram group
From there, you can:
- Review the analysis
- Edit or refine it inside your dashboard if needed

4. Requests (Human Admin, Unknown Questions & Chat Stop)
This section handles escalation and special cases.
Notifications will be sent to this topic when:
- A user requests a human admin
- A predefined chat stop keyword is triggered
- Vardast does not know how to answer a question
- The AI is not confident about the response
- A conversation requires manual review
When any of the above happens:
- Vardast immediately stops the conversation (if configured)
- A notification is sent to the designated Telegram topic
- You can manually take over the conversation
You can define custom stop keywords inside Smart DM settings.

Once configured correctly, Vardast will send structured real-time notifications to your Telegram group for leads, sales, story analysis, unanswered questions, and manual intervention requests.
